The Battery:
The device can still transmit data when charging, which means you don't need to worry about battery life as long as a power outlet is within reach. But if one isn't, the device comes with a 1500mAh battery, which was good for exactly 3 hours and 30 minutes of 3G streaming. The battery life depends upon the signal strength you receive from the tower nearby and the number of devices connected to the MiFi. Do not keep the battery on charge for more than 5 hours, that can lead the device to malfunction or getting over-heated.
Wi-Fi broadcast capacity:
MiFi 2200 offers more than 30 feet of range, but as is usual, performance degrades dramatically after 12 feet of distance. Still, that's a good amount of distance, and it shouldn't matter much if you plan to keep the hotspot close while you're on the go.
